Gingham Everywhere — The Spring Plaid Trend

IMG_5190.JPG

This print has always been around but for some reason, this spring/summer Gingham has made a revolutionary appearance in the fashion world and is officially the ‘it’ print. While plaid can be tricky at times to style, especially in the warmer months because it is so reminiscent of the fall, I’ve got you covered on how to style gingham this season and be oh so on trend.

I am wearing an overall inspired dress from TopShop that I got from Nordstrom for only $75! Not only does it bring in spring plaid but also combines the overall trend with it. This incredible combination definitely serves for the more street style centered girl on those hot days; when time is of the essence and you just need something to throw on. I paired this amazing dress with a simple white shirt I’ve had forever from Ann Taylor and my classic go to black Birkenstock’s. When we think Gingham we always think a little more classic because of the shape the pattern creates and the color, but this overall dress gives the look a little bit more edge while being on top of your game.
